Borobudur and Prambanan is known as the big temple in Indonesia. But they actually different. Becauae one is Buddhism temple and another one is Hindhu temple.
Borobudur temple is the biggest Buddhis temple in the world. It was built during the 8 AD during the Caylendra Dinasty. It is only 42 km distance from Yogya, so it must be visited when you travel to Java.
Prambanan temple is known as the highest Hindhu temple is Indonesia. It was built during 9 Century by Sanjaya Dinasty. It is very beautifull temple and its distance is only 17 km from Yogya. For your tour, you can do both temple is one day. First to Borobudur temple, have lunch and Prambanan temple.
